Graham Cawood

Owner and Professional Hunter

Graham started hunting Professionally in 2004. With experience in all the different hunting areas of Mozambique from the Zambezi delta right up into the Niassa region bordering Tanzania. Living and based out of Tete for over 12 years now. Graham has also hunted Zimbabwe, Zambia as well as South Africa. Graham in his earlier Professional hunting days hunted with some of the top hunting companies in Africa and top Professional hunters such as Sean Grant the Leopard Fundi. Graham has the experience and passion to deliver a top class safari.

John Whitaker

Professional Hunter

Has been hunting Professionally for over 11 years now. John works hard and brings a lot of humour in camp. John has hunted South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Mozambique. This is the experience that he brings to the hunt.

Theunis Kruger

Area Manager & Professional Hunter

Theunis started hunting in 2014 after finishing his FGASA Level 2 and PH Courses. Also trained in Anti-Poaching, Bushcraft and Survival. He is really passionate about hunting and hunting free roaming areas. He did his apprenticeship in Mozambique and sarted with Naissaland Safaris in 2017. He knows the bush well and every hunt with him will be a memorable hunt.

The SCI Hunter’s Code of Ethics

At Safari Landia we hunt under these guidelines, which are internationally accepted and adhered to by all ethical hunting outfits.

A condition of membership in SCI is ethical behaviour. The SCI Bylaws require all members to live by the SCI Hunter’s Code of Ethics, which is printed in the annual SCI Directory:

  • To conduct myself in the field so as to make a positive contribution to wildlife and ecosystems
  • To improve my skills as a woodsman and marksman to ensure humane harvesting of wildlife
  • To comply with all game laws, in the spirit of fair chase, and to influence my companions accordingly
  • To accept my responsibility to provide all possible assistance to game law enforcement officers
  • To waste no opportunity to teach young people the full meaning of this code of ethics
  • To reflect in word and behavior only credit upon the fraternity of sportsmen, and to demonstrate abiding respect for game, habitat and property where I am privileged to hunt
