What to bring - Safari Landia

The Essential Things to Remember

Clothing

The African sun is harsh most of the year. Layering your clothing is most practical for the fluctuating temperatures from day to night of Africa. If you are hunting; dull and or neutral colours are more suitable however camo is a good option. Cotton clothing is recommended for summer. It is best to pack hardy, durable clothing. Please note Sun Lotion and a hat is very important.

Travel Insurance

It is your responsibility to provide for your own travel insurance. It is imperative that you accomplish this prior to your arrival in Africa. If travelers are carrying prescription medicine, they must carry a copy of the prescription with them.

Personal Medication

You need to bring all your personal medication with you as this is normally unavailable in the Hunting Country. Please also inform your Hunting representative of any serious medical conditions that you have.

REMEMBER: When in the bush we are very far from civilization and normal shopping should be done before departure (for those items forgotten). So make good use of this list before flying out. The alternative is to make arrangements to do a shop when you land - so luggage is lighter.

At the Camp we have most all the essentials, so PLEASE REMEMBER YOUR MEDICAL KIT ABOVE ALL. If you have any medical or health conditions, please inform your representative/guide well in advance so that this is known and can be factored into the time you are with us and in our care.
